Living with Family Heirlooms

Living with Family Heirlooms

Fine china, stamps, clothing, bibles, books and baubles; family heirlooms come in all shapes and sizes. As family curators and caretakers it is our duty to collect and preserve these precious mementos for future generations. But that doesn’t mean they need to hide in dark attics and drawers. With a little creativity, family heirlooms can be incorporated into any home decor and can inspire less enthusiastic family members to ponder and appreciate their ancestors.

Here are some of the best ideas for creating beautiful and interesting displays of common family treasures:

Thank you for visiting the site! Vintage jewelry is so beautiful and glamorous that it really lends itself to a project like this. I hope you will let me know how your display turns out!

  3. I love these creative ideas! I think I might have to try some! I particularly like the stamp collection! My grandfather had an amazing collection. Maybe I’ll turn his duplicates into an interesting collage or better yet, ask my husband to do something creative with it!

  4. Great display ideas! I’m always looking for ways to enjoy my keepsakes and share them with the family.
